The business was established in 1973 and we are proud to be a founder member of the multinational Bianco Group who have been operating in Europe, North America and the Middle East for over 60 years.
Today the Bianco Group is made up of over 20 steel stockholding, distribution, processing and trading companies and it is still growing. Over 800 people work in the group and serve over 80,000 customers worldwide. The Group specialises in providing seamless and welded tubes to the construction, process and energy industries as well as providing seamless tubes and solid bars for the mechanical and fluid power markets.

Our key strength is the ability to look at client’s specifications and if an exact match from our inventory is not readily available, review the application and recommend alternative options that will satisfy the technical requirement. This flexibility has seen us supply repurposed tube for the 2012 Olympic Stadium in London, the London Eye and the roof over Court No. 1 at Wimbledon. We have delivered cost savings for many construction piling projects (marine piling, renewable energy and sports stadia projects) using this principle as well as civil engineering and construction projects such as retail outlets and warehousing.
We understand the urgency at times to obtain materials quickly. With this in mind we always hold 70,000 tonnes in stock at our facility in North Yorkshire at any one time and offer a full range of services to provide a finished item. Our buying team are constantly reviewing offers of stock from mills and oil and gas companies to ensure our stock profile perfectly matches customer requirements.
