Bianco Group
The history of the Bianco Group began in 1958 with the foundation of F G Bianco Company in Italy, active in the distribution of steel tubes, located first in Milan and then in Flero (Brescia) where it still exists under the name Tubindustria.

Between the end of the '60's and the beginnning of the '70's the company SICAM was formed in Italy, STAD in France and CST - Cleveland Steel and Tubes - in Great Britain, which formed the base for the creation of an international group and was the first step towards the creation of an integrated distribution network.

The opening of other companies followed due to initiatives taken by SICAM, STAD and CST:
- during the '80's the company National Tubes Stockholders was established in Great Britain, Distritube in France, Deurohr in Germany and National Tubes Supply in the United States.
- during the '90's new initiatives were added, with Tubifal in Italy, Protubsta in Spain, the Danish Nordisk Ror og Stal in Scandinavia, Interpipe in Canada and SBC in Great Britain.

At the moment, Bianco Group is made up of about twenty companies which are divided into two groups based onthe type of products handled. One group is directed towards markets using tubes for mechanical applications, construction and the petrochemical industry, and the second group is directed towards the foundation pilings market.

Altogether, today there are approximately 700 persons who contribute their professionalism to giving a response to the questions of more than 15,000 customers across the globe. An organiziation which is articulated but slim and quick, which can draw benefit from vast resources; in particular more than 200,000 square metres of covered warehouses, and significant quantities of available stock - more than 175,000 tons of pipes - so as to be able to respond instantly and with rapid deliveries to the most varied needs.

Cleveland Steel and Tubes Ltd
Cleveland Steel and Tubes Ltd (CST) has been established in the UK for over 30 years. The business has been built on sound experience and expertise in sourcing good quality tubes and hollow sections.

CST is an independent UK registered, limited company. Individually we are one of Europe's largest steel stockholders, but associated companies withing the BIANCO GROUP throughout Europe and North America make us unrivalled as a group world-wide.

Operating from purpose built works covering over fifty acres in North Yorkshire, UK, we offer out stock from a single point supplying more than 5,000 customers in the UK alone, from individual engineers to international construction giants.

Over thirty years of investment in people, property and equipment has ensured that our customers' orders are quickly, effieciently and safely handled by one of the biggest and most modern facilities used for storage of steel in the UK.
